Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant provides scheduling, education, follow-up, and clinical support to patients seeking abortion care in the Center for Reproductive Health. Responsible for assisting providers before, during, and after medication and aspiration abortions both in-person and via telehealth. Provides all care in compliance with written and approved protocols, and OSHA regulations.

This position is four days a week (30 hours a week) working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in Augusta.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal skills and ability to relate to people required
  • Interest in sexual and reproductive health
  • Understanding of and commitment to reproductive justice

 Education & Experience:

  • Licensed Medical Assistant preferred
  • High School Diploma required

Candidate must be able to work in a team environment.  Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor are required.
