Schedule an Abortion Appointment
To schedule your appointment online, please choose one of the options below. Currently, you may schedule an Aspiration Abortion or Medication Abortion in our Augusta office, or a Medication Abortion via telehealth through our online scheduling system. If you’d like to schedule to be seen in person for a Medication Abortion at one of our other clinics, or do not meet the criteria for an appointment below, or if you do not see a time that works with your schedule, please call us at 207-626-3243 and we will work to find you an appointment quickly.
Note: If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, have travelled to an area with a high incidence of Covid-19, are a close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid, or have had a positive Covid-19 test in the past 10 days, please call us at 207-626-3243 to schedule.
Aspiration Abortion (in-clinic, suction procedure) in our Augusta office. If you answer YES to ALL of the following questions, you may schedule here:

- I have MaineCare or I plan to pay $500 in cash/credit/debit at the time of my visit.
- My periods are regular (come every month).
- It has been between 6 and 14 weeks since the first day of my last menstrual period.
- I do not have any major health problems (heart, lung, kidney, liver, brain).

Medication Abortion (with pills) in our Augusta office. If you answer YES to ALL of the following questions, you may schedule here:

- I have MaineCare or I plan to pay $500 in cash/credit/debit at the time of my visit.
- I am comfortable using pills and passing a pregnancy at home.
- My periods are regular (come every month).
- It has been less than 11 weeks since the first day of my last menstrual period.
- I do not have any major health problems (heart, lung, kidney, liver, brain).
- I do not have an allergy to mifepristone, misoprostol, or any other prostaglandin.
- I do not have a history of long-term corticosteroid use.
- I do not have chronic adrenal failure.
- I do not have a bleeding disorder, an inherited porphyria, and I am not taking anti-coagulants (blood thinners) right now.
- I will be able to follow-up after my abortion with a phone call, lab work, or an ultrasound to make sure it is complete.

We also can do an an At-Home, Telehealth Medication Abortion, where we will complete your visit via telehealth on your phone or computer and then you can go to any of our 18 clinics to pick up your medications. If you answer YES to ALL of the following questions, and would like to do your abortion this way, you may schedule here:

- I do not have an IUD in place and did not have one in when I got pregnant.
- I have never had an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.
- I have never had permanent sterilization (tubal ligation/tubes tied) or other surgery to my tubes.
- I have not had any significant bleeding or cramping in the past week.
- I prefer not to have an ultrasound for this pregnancy.
- I will be able to follow-up after my abortion with a phone call, lab work, or an ultrasound to make sure it is complete.

Instructions for arrival for your appointment:

- Bring a photo ID.
- Please do not bring big bags into the clinic. No weapons are allowed anywhere at the clinic. We ask that all cell phones are turned off before entering the clinic space.
- Do not take any drugs or alcohol that may impair your ability to consent to an abortion 24 hours prior to coming to your appointment.
- Dress comfortably and wear underwear that will fit a pad. You do not need to bring any pads with you. You may eat or drink before your appointment. At home, it is helpful to have pads or tampons, medicine for cramping (ibuprofen and Tylenol), a heating pad, and a thermometer.
- Currently, to minimize exposure to extra people, we are not allowing any support people in our clinics. If you have a driver, that person may wait in the car or you may call them when it is time to be picked up. We have excellent staff who will care for you during your visit!
