Maine Family Planning is rolling out the newly updated Puberty Happens curriculum at this day-long training for educators, nurses, and other school staff! Puberty Happens addresses the social, physical, and emotional changes of puberty for youth in grades 4-6. Educators attending this training will: Receive a copy of the 2018 edition of Puberty Happens Practice puberty activities and share resources with colleagues Identify strategies for providing gender inclusive education Develop new skills for answering student questions Cost of training: $35. New Beginnings/MFP: “Be Proud! Be Responsible!” Training

New Beginnings and Maine Family Planning invite youth-serving agencies and alternative high schools to join a project using the “Be Proud! Be Responsible!” 6-session curriculum to help vulnerable Maine youth to reduce their sexual risk behaviors.
