Join fellow health educators at this 2-day, in-person training to learn more about Maine Family Planning’s Best Practices in STI/HIV and Pregnancy Prevention curriculum and strategies for delivering the sexual health lessons with youth. Gain knowledge, comfort, and skills to teach this 10-lesson curriculum that is aligned with the Maine Learning Results for Health Education and the National Sex Education Standards. The contents and format of the curriculum addresses the sexual health needs of youth ages 13-18.

Thanks to funding from the Maine Dept of Education, there is no charge to register for Maine educators. Participants will receive a printed copy of the curriculum along with resources needed to deliver the lessons. Breakfast and lunch both days is included.
