Everyone deserves health care, no matter their zip code! With increasing attacks on our federal funding, health care for all Mainers has been threatened. But make no mistake that those bearing the biggest burden to the loss of care across our state are those living in the most rural areas. Rural Maine deserves health care! And you can help us spread that message by submitting a design to our first annual sticker contest.
With our sticker design contest, we hope to highlight Maine artists and have a beautiful new way for folks to display their support for quality, comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care for themselves, their loved ones, and their neighbors. The grand prize winner will also receive a $250 Visa gift card!
Submissions open on Monday, August 3 at 9 AM and will close on Friday, September 25 at 5 PM. Entries should be emailed to advocacy@mainefamilyplanning.org.

Contest Rules
- Submitted artwork must be your original work. No cliparts, templates, or copyrighted materials may be used. AI may not be used in any part of the design process, and AI art may not be submitted.
- Sticker designs must be circular, sized at 2 inches in diameter.
- All designs must include the phrase “Rural Maine Deserves Health Care”.
- “Maine Family Planning” must also be printed clearly somewhere in the design.
- Both digital and physical art will be accepted.
- Physical art must be scanned and sent via email.
- Files for both digital and physical art must be high quality JPEGs or PNG files.
- Only one entry is allowed per person.
- Artists must be located in Maine.
- The deadline for submissions is Friday, September 25 by 5 PM. Entries submitted past this deadline will not be considered.
Judging Protocol
- After the deadline, entries will be judged by an internal Maine Family Planning panel who will narrow the selection down to a top 3 selection.
- The top 3 designs will be posted publicly for a vote to decide a final winner.
